The Mission Ministry helps spread the Word of God to those who may not have heard the Gospel. To accomplish this, God’s people often work in foreign and domestic lands. As our church is involved in mission work, we build a closer relationship with God. 

Mission work follows the example of Jesus as He went from place to place caring for people by telling them the Good News, healing their physical and emotional hurts, and freeing them from spiritual bondage. 

Jesus wants us to continue His work until He returns: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 

Loving God and people through mission work will improve the emotional and spiritual health of those in our community. As we are called to do acts of service for our neighbors, we demonstrate God’s love for people. Our church can and has addressed the basic needs of people in our community and in other communities in our region. We can also care for others through love and spiritual guidance.
