Gina Carter
Women’s Ministry Leader
I have been married to my husband, Jeremiah, for 8 years. Together we have three children – Kimber, Tyler and Steven. All three of our children attend Mosaic Academy here in Aztec, where I also teach. Our family enjoys working in our flowerbeds, camping/fishing, exploring in our Jeep, watching movies and playing cards together.
God began calling me to Women’s Ministry through Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS). During my time with MOPS, I served as Discussion Group Leader and Coordinator. God opened my eyes wide to the need for women to connect with other women in authentic ways, to know that they were not alone in their struggles and triumphs. God fanned that desire for connection into a fire for seeing women grow in their knowledge of and relationship with Him. I began leading Bible Study at home. Currently, I teach discipleship classes on Wednesday nights and a Women’s Sunday School class on Sunday morning.
My life verse is Romans 8:28. I love knowing that no matter what I face, God knows and is working that situation for good. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
